Ingredients:
Ingredients:
One thick sliced Rib eye steak
Kosher salt
1 teaspoon oil
1 tablespoon butter

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle steak liberally with kosher salt, patting it in. Then salt some more. The meat can handle it. Make sure to do both sides and the edges as well.
Put 1 teaspoon oil into black iron skillet and get it good and hot. Put steak into hot oil and let it sear on both sides. Using a pair of tongs, sear the edges as well. When it turns brown, add 1 tablespoon of butter, not margerine to the pan. When it melts, spoon it liberally over the steak, again on both sides. Remove steak from skillet and place into a preheated oven at 350º or on the grill away from the direct heat for 20 minutes to finish it.
Remove and let it rest for 10 minutes then slice it across the grain. Serve with baked or mashed potatoes and a green vegetable for a really delicious meal. The steak doesn't taste salty, either. The salt makes a crust on the outside and seals in the natural juices. ENJOY!
