1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 cup mashed banana

2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, beating until smooth. blend in mashed banana.

In a second bowl, stir flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nuts together. Add to banana mixture stirring only to moisten. scoop into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan. Bake in a 350º F oven about 1 hour until an inserted toothpick comes out clean, Let stand for 10 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely on a cake rack.
