1 head lettuce
4 hard boiled eggs sliced
1/2 green pepper diced
8 slices bacon, fried and diced
1 c diced celery
1 10ounce pkg frozen peas (uncooked)
1 sweet onion, sliced thin
2 T granulated sugar
2 cups real mayonnaise
4 ounces cheddar cheese grated

Tear lettuce into bite-size pieces and place in large bowl or 9 x 12 dish. Layer eggs, vegetables and bacon in order given Add the sugar to the mayonnaise and spread over all. Do not stir Top with grated cheese and cover. refrigerate 12 - 24 hours
