1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 tsp. baking soda
5 tsp. sour milk *
1 cup banana pulp
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening. Add sugar gradually and continue to beat until fluffy. Add beaten eggs and vanilla and beat until light. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Beat thoroughly after each addition. Add banana pulp and mix until well blender. Pour into loaf pans and bake for 30 minutes at 350º.

To make sour milk add about 1/3 teaspoon vinegar to the 5 tablespoons milk. Let set until milk curdles.
