Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 # PINTO BEANS (Soak overnight)
1 can (14.5 oz.) STEWED TOMATOES
1 can (8 oz.) TOMATO SAUCE
1 CLOVE GARLIC, minced
1 ONION, chopped
1 cube BUTTER
2 Tbsp. OIL
1 tsp. CHILI POWDER. (Sometimes I use 1/2 CHILI O packaged seasoning)
1 tsp. SUGAR
1 small JALAPEŅO CHILI, (seeded and chopped)
1 package Lawry's SPAGHETTI SAUCE mix (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Soak pinto beans overnight. Drain water and fill with fresh water. Cook beans until almost done*. Next add all of the remaining ingredients and let simmer until beans are fully cooked.

Meat Variation:
For a more hearty meal, I like to add a package of Jenny O MILD TURKEY SAUSAGE, pre cooked, when I add in the balance of the ingredients. To finish, let the beans simmer until they are fully cooked.

* If there is too much liquid, I remove and reserve some to add later for my preferred consistency.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is a staple in my freezer for any addition to a Family Love meal or a church potluck!
