Chuck Roast
Flour
Oil
1/2 to 1 pkg. Dry Onion Soup Mix (depending on size of roast)
1 can. Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 1/2 can of water
Carrots
Red Potatoes
Sweet Potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Season roast, coat with flour and brown in oil in dutch oven. Add soup mix, canned soup, and water. Cover and cook in 350º oven for an hour. Add potatoes and carrots and cook until done. For a large roast total cooking time is a couple hours. Smaller roast not as long.

Can use rump roast but prefer a chuck. I also prefer red potatoes to white, not as starchy. A Sunday favorite!
