Ingredients:  
1 medium onion, chopped...
1 T corn oil...
1 pound chicken livers...
1 pound hot Italian sausage...
1 t ground oregano...
1 t cayenne pepper...
1/2 t ground nutmeg...
3 T fresh flat leave parsley, chopped...
1 egg...

For garnish the following is needed...

1 egg, hard-boiled...
2 T minced parsley...

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté the onion in the corn oil, just till tender...
Add the chicken livers, cook until light in color, add the sausage, cook for 20 minutes, moderate heat...
Add the dry ingredients, parsley and the egg, cook until egg is mixed in well and cooked...
Remove from heat and cool just until it's in a warm stage...
In batches put in food processor and grind until smooth...
Once all is ground to your liking, place in disposable, small loaf pan ( I spray the loaf pan with butter flavored olive oil flavored Pam)
Chill until you use the pate...
Remove from pan by turning upside down on a serving platter and garnish with the chopped hard-boiled egg and minced parsley...
Serve with party slices of your favorite bread, I use rye and pumpernickel bread...
Can also use crackers of your choice...

Can be made ahead, just cover with plastic wrap in frige until 1 hour before serving...
Goes well with chilled white wine or your favorite cool drink...

I also have some chopped red onion available for guests...
