1 1/4 c. pecans (5 oz) chopped coarsely
7 Tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. packed light brown sugar
3 Tbsp. all purpose flour
3/4 c. light corn syrup
1 can (5 oz or about 2/3 c.) evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Put pecans and 3 Tbsp. butter in microwave-safe baking dish. Microwave on 80% for 5 - 7 minutes, stirring twice, until lightly golden.
Put remaining butter in a 4 cup microwave-safe measure or a deep bowl. Microwave on high 45 seconds until butter melts.
Whisk in brown sugar and flour, then the corn syrup until thoroughly blended. Microwave on high 6 - 8 minutes, stirring twice, until sugar is dissolved and sauce is thickened.
Let stand 2 minutes then with long-handled spoon, carefully stir in milk and pecans. Pour into hot, clean jars or containers. Cover tightly and cool before refrigerating.
Makes 3 cups.
