1 box cherry chip cake mix (Betty Crocker)
1 pkg cherry jello
1/2 cup vegetable oil (like Mazola)
1/2 cup cold water
4 eggs
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup sugar
OR
1 cup vanilla ice cream softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup whipping cream
fresh fruit

Mix cake mix, jello, oil and water. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well after each addition. Bake in greased and floured angel food pan (follow time and temperature on cake box) When baked remove from pan at once. Mix orange juice and sugar and pour or drizzle over cake. OR
Bake in a 9x 13 pan and omit the orange juice over the top and do this:
Combine softened ice cream, sour cream, sugar and vanilla. Whip cream until quite stiff. Fold into the ice cream mixture. Makes 3 cups. Then you serve it-piled fresh strawberries or raspberries on top of a piece of cake- put a tablespoon or 2 of the sauce on top with fruit and serve. Like a strawberry short cake. Really Good.
