10 oz box of vanilla wafers
2 or 3 tbsp melted butter
1 box lemon jello
1 cup hot water
juice from 2 or 3 lemons
additional water
1 cup whipping cream
1 cup sugar
additional whipped cream
maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Crush vanilla wafers mix with butter. Press into a 9x13 pan. Dissolve Jello in hot water. Juice lemons, put into cup then add water to make 1 cup. Add to Jello mixture, cool until syrupy then whip until thick and foamy. Whip whipping cream until thick, add 1 cup sugar slowly to whipped cream. Fold into lemon mixture then pour unto the vanilla wafers mixture in pan. Chill. Serve with dash of whipped cream top with maraschino cherry.
