5-6 sliced zucchini or summer squash or some of each.
3/4 cup shredded cheese
1 pint sour cream
2 tbsp flour
2 eggs, separated, stir yolks into cream and fold in beaten egg whites
5 slices bacon, fried crisp
Bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
In boiling, salted water cook zucchini (or summer squash or some of each) until partly done. Layer slices in shallow buttered pan.
Layers:
Squash
Cheese
Sauce
Bacon
Repeat layers.
Cover with buttered bread crumbs and bake 45 minutes at 300º.
