2 cups flour
1/2 cup sifted powder sugar
2 T cornstarch
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup butter

4 eggs, slightly beaten
3 T flour
3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp finely grated lemon peel
1/4 cup half/half (or milk)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.
Foil line and grease a 9x13 pan.

In large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Using a pastry blender (or fork) cut in butter until mixture is course crumbs. Press into the bottom of foil-lined pan. Bake at 350º for 18-20 minutes.

Stir together remaining ingredients. Pour over hot crust. Bake 15-20 minutes until center is set. Cool on a wire rack.

Sift additional powdered sugar over top (if desired). Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
