1 cup (2 sticks) butter or shortening
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 1/4 cups flour
12 oz pkg (2 cups) chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. Stir in salt, soda, flour, and chocolate chips until blended. Drop by spoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes.
