6-oz. uncooked turkey bacon
1 medium onion
4 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
5 c. uncooked multigrain bow-tie pasta
1 carton (32 oz.) unsalted chicken stock
1 can (12 oz.) fat-free evaporated milk
4 oz. reduced fat cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 c. frozen peas, thawed
1 oz. fresh Parmesan cheese

Stack bacon and cut in half lengthwise. Cut crosswise into small pieces. Cook bacon in skillet over medium heat until browned.

Finely chop onion. Add onion, pressed garlic and pepper flakes to pan with bacon. Cook 3-4 minutes or until onion is tender. Add pasta, stock and evaporated milk. Cover and bring to a simmer. (Do not boil). Simmer 12-14 minutes or until pasta is still a little firm.

Remove from skillet. Stir in cream cheese, peas and Parmesan.
