2 1/2 to 3 cups corn kernels (from 3 to 4 ears of sweet corn)
1/2 cup diced Gruyere cheese
1/2 cup half and half
3 large eggs
2 tbsp diced poblano or jalapeno pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp freshly ground pepper
2 tbsp chives

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º. Combine the corn, cheese, half and half, eggs, poblano or jalapeno peppers, salt and pepper in a blender. Puree 1 minute or until smooth. Add the chives and pulse to combine.
Pour into a greased 3 cup gratin dish or 4 (3/4 to 1 cup) ramekins. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden and set. Serve immediately.
