Brine
2 qts. (8 cups) water
1 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup of canning salt

Jars and Cucumbers

Fresh cucumbers cleaned and sliced (approximately 6 lbs make 4 quarts)
4 Garlic cloves
4 heads of fresh dill (or 4 tsp of dill weed)
4 fresh Jalapeņo ( medium in size) or pepper flakes (1 tsp)
4 sterile quart jars

Directions:
Directions:
Mix brine and bring to boil. Let brine cool.


Place first in sterile jars: one clove of garlic, one fresh dill (1 tsp dill seed), one pepper. Pack cucumbers in jar tightly. Pour cool brine over cucumbers. Place lids on jars. Place jars in refrigerator. Pickles are ready in 7 to 10 days. NOTE:. If using bigger jars place 2 of cloves of garlic, dill and pepper.
