1 c. self-rising flour
1 T. Wesson oil
1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions:

Mix together, add more buttermilk if necessary to make consistency right.
Spoon onto cast iron pan. Spray spoon with Pam and use to smooth out the top of the biscuits.

Bake at 500º for 10 minutes

I got this recipe from Aunt Pearl when she was 100 years old. Of course she never measured anything so it took me two years of trial and error to get the proportions correct.
