4 to 6 lbs.chicken
2 qts. water
2 bay leaves
1 Tbsp. salt
2 stalks of celery
1 onion
10 oz. shell macaroni cook in strained chicken broth
1 package frozen peas cooked and drained

White Sauce
1 stick butter
3/4 c. flour
1 qt. milk
1 lb. Velveeta cheese
4 oz can of mushrooms
1 jar pimento

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 6 ingredients together and simmer until tender. Place chicken, macaroni and peas in a large baking dish.
Melt butter, stir in flour then add milk. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Add cheese to melt it. Add mushrooms and pimento. Pour sauce over chicken mixture. Bake 350º for 30 to 40 minutes. Makes 2 nice size casseroles.
