12 ounces Crispix cereal or corn chex
12 3/4 oz. Rice Chex cereal
1 C slivered almonds
5 oz. sweetened coconut flakes
1 1/2 C butter (3 sticks)
1 1/4 C granulated sugar
3/4 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Combine cereals, almonds and coconut together in large roasting pan
Boil together butter, corn syrup, and sugar for 3 minutes, remove from heat and stir in vanilla/
Adde about 1/3 of butter/syrup to the cereal mix at a time, tossing lightly between additions.
Empty out onto a dry clean counter top to dry-transfer and keep in plastic bags.
