1 3/4 C. sugar
1 C. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 Can cherry pie filling

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter, and vanilla together. Add eggs, one at a time. Gradually add flour and baking powder mixture. Spread 2/3 of batter in bottom of 9x13 pan. Spread pie filling over batter. Pat remaining batter into pieces, and cover the top. Bake at 350º for 40-45 min. (Carefully check to make sure it isn't doughy.) Cool and drizzle with glaze. (Continued next page.)
Glaze: 1 C. powdered sugar, 1-2 Tbsp. milk, 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring. Cut into small bars.
