Mom’s Italian Meatballs
1 ½ LBs Ground round
½ cup quick cooking oatmeal
½ cup grated parmesan cheese
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. salt, some pepper

Mix together, shape into 1’ balls and brown in hot oil. Drain.

Sauce: 1 pkg spaghetti sauce mix
1 sm can tomato paste
1 med size can tomatos- mix in blender or get the chopped kind
1 ½ tsp Italian seasoning (start with ½ tsp increase to your taste)
½ cup red wine (cheap)

Directions:
When using meatballs for hors d’ouvres, add 1 cup water.
When using with spaghetti, add 2-3 cups water. Bring sauce to boil, add brown meatballs, cook 30 mins. Low heat.
Better made day before. Mmm…
