3 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Topping (choose one)
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/3 c. flour
1/2 to 1 c. chopped pecans (more is always better)

or

1 can crushed pineapple
1 c. miniature marshallows

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350º.

Boil the potatoes whole until tender: Remove and let cool completely.

After the potatoes are cooled, put them in a large bowl and mash them as you would regular potatoes.

Add the rest of the ingredients.

Pour into a large buttered baking dish.

Cover the potatoes with the topping of your choice. (*if you are doing topping #2, put the pineapple in the baking dish before the potatoes.)

Bake at 350º for 35 minutes.

Topping #1 Combine all ingredients and cover the potatoes.
Topping #2 Put a layer of pineapple on the bottom (under potatoes) and a layer of mashmallows on top.
