2 T. butter
1 medium chopped onion
3 T. Worcestershire Sauce
2 T. vinegar (white)
2 T.brown sugar
4 T. lemon juice
1 c. ketchup
1/2 T. mustard
1/2 c. water
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in butter until golden brown. Turn down heat to low. Mix ketchup with water. Add all ingredients. Simmer for 2 hours. Add water as needed.

This recipe can be tripled and you can freeze any left overs. It will be easy to scoop out for other meals. The Crawford's always used an electric skillet

This recipe has been a Crawford Family favorite for many years. Whenever there was BBQ chicken this was the sauce that was used. It is the BEST EVER!!

Just like all good Texans, the Speer and Crawford family love BBQ. This is a tomato based sauce because that is the correct base for a good BBQ Sauce. This sauce goes on all smoked meat and brisket. This is our favorite!!
