1 unsliced round Sourdough loaf - about 1lb

1/2 pound grated Monterey Jack Cheese

½ cup butter, melted

½ cup chopped green onions

2 to 3 teaspoons poppy seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Cut the bread lengthwise and crosswise without cutting through the bottom crust. This makes kind of a checkerboard pattern.
Insert cheese all throughout the cuts.

Combine butter, onions and poppy seeds; drizzle this mixture over the bread, making sure to get it down in between also.

Wrap in foil; place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Uncover; bake 10 minutes longer or until the cheese is melted.
