2 cups raw peanuts

2 cups sugar

2/3 cup white karo syrup

1/3 cup water

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons soda

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, karo and water in a heavy skillet until it forms a soft ball when dropped into a cup of cold water. Add peanuts, continue cooking until golden colored, stirring often. Remove from fire and add vanilla, salt and soda. Stir quickly and pour into a well buttered cookie sheet and spread quickly. Break into pieces when cool and brittle.
