1 pkg.dry yeast
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. warm milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. warm water
1/2 c. melted butter, cooled
1 tsp. salt
4 c. sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together yeast, sugar and warm milk.
Mix together with other ingredients. (I use a wire whisk until the last cup or so of flour, then a wooden spoon). Let stand at room temperature 8 hours or overnight
Roll dough into 3 - 9" circles, 1/2" thick. Cut into eight sections the shape of a piece of pie. Roll wide edge toward the point, and curve into a crescent shape as you place on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Let rise until double. Time will vary with temp. of room. Generally, one to three hours.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Brush tops with butter.

I often use this recipe to make little cocktail buns. After rolling out as above, simply use a 2" round cookie cutter to shape buns. Will make at least 4 dozen little buns.
