1--2 quarts of strawberries
Sugar for berries
Milk for serving

Biscuits:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp sugar
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Clean and cut up strawberries and sprinkle with sugar. Set aside

Preheat oven to 450º. In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening, using pastry blender (or pulling 2 table knives through ingredients in opposite directions) until mixture looks like fine crumbs. Stir in milk.

Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet about 1 inch apart

Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheet.

Serve warm, topped with strawberries and sugar and milk.
