1/2 cup light corn syrup (Karo)
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup peanut butter
2 cups corn flakes cereal

Directions:

Bring corn syrup and sugar to a boil. Stir in peanut butter until mixture is smooth. Turn down heat and add cornflakes. When fully blended, turn off heat. Shape into cookies.

This was another favorite that Aunt Marlene always made. I think there may have been multiple versions of this using a 12 oz. package of butterscotch bits and melting those instead of peanut butter. Crunchy goodness!!
