1 box (18.25 oz) chocolate cake mix
30 Kraft caramels
1 stick butter or margarine
1 tbsp milk
3/4 cup chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts or peanuts
Ice cream or whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350º.
Melt 30 Kraft caramels with 1 stick of butter or margarine and 1 tbsp milk over low heat.
Pour over top of baked cake.
Spread 3/4 cup chocolate chips over caramel topping, then sprinkle with 1 cup chopped nuts.
Spread the rest of the cake batter over this mixture.
Bake 10-20 minutes at 350º testing with finger for doneness.
Serve with ice cream or whipped cream.
It is delicious warm.
