4 cups peaches
3 cups sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon butter
1/4 cup amaretto

Sure-Gel - optional

Directions:
Cook to 220 degrees and process in water bath canner.

I add sure gel to the above listed ingredients and follow the directions on the sure gel direction sheet for making peach preserves. These directions may alter the amount of ingredients that you will need but this is all listed on the sure gel instructions.

Process filled jars in a water bath canner. Follow the guidelines for processing in a water bath canner.

1 pint - 10 minutes
1/2 pint - 5 minutes
