2 cups diced cooked turkey
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup minced onion
1 cup chopped carrot
1 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup flour
2 cups chicken broth
2 cups half and half
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Dash of cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Saute the onion, carrot, celery in the butter or margarine until soft but not brown. Blend in the flour. Gradually stir in the chicken broth and then the half and half. Cook, stirring constantly until chowder thickens. Stir in the salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, turkey and cheese. Heat just until the cheese melts and serve immediately. Serves 4.
