8 oz. medium egg noodles
1 lb. of lean ground beef
1 T. butter
1 16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp each garlic powder and pepper
2 cups. sour cream
1 cup thinly sliced onion
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and add sour cream.

Cook onions in butter until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned and crumbly. Stir in tomato sauce, garlic, salt and pepper.

In a buttered casserole dish, add alternating layers of beef sauce and noodle mixture. Starting and ending with sauce. top with cheddar cheese and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
