3/4 lb. of pretzels, crushed to fine crumbs
2/3 cup melted butter
8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. cool whip
2 small packages of strawberry Jello
Optional: pineapple or other fruit for Jello mixture

Directions:
Directions:
Put crushed pretzels in oblong cake pan, add butter and mix. Press the mixture tightly in the bottom of the pan. Bake crust at 325º F for 20 minutes. Set aside and let cool.
Make Jello according to the instructions and set aside to cool.
In a medium sized bowl, whip the cream cheese until light. Fold in cool whip completely.
Spread cream cheese mixture over the pretzel crust.
Pour cool, (mostly set), Jello over the cream cheese mixture.
Cool in refrigerator until Jello is set. Keep refrigerated until served.
We use sugarless Jello and sugarless cool whip.
