1 large can crushed pineapple
1 large can apple pie filling or cherry pie filling
1 cube butter
1 white cake mix

ice cream or whipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Spread fruit over bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix over fruit. Slice butter in small slices and lay on top of cake mix. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until top is golden. Serve hot or cold with or without ice cream or whipped cream.

This has been a favorite for decades. I've used yellow cake mix and french vanilla cake mix also. It's all good. Be generous with the butter. Use more if you like.
