1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter, melted
3 tbsp. Bourbon
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup pecans, chopped
powdered sugar for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
With a wire whisk, beat eggs slightly in a mixing bowl. Add sugar, flour, melted butter and bourbon; mix until well-blended. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Pour into pre-made pastry shell. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until a thin crust forms on top and a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool at least 3 to 4 hours, then cut into pieces. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top.

This recipe is from a retired Arlington Race Track pastry chef. It was their most requested dessert. When he left his position, he decided it was time to share his recipe. If you don't think it is rich enough (hah, hah) serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dab of whipped cream.
