1 # of good ham ½ cup of milk (2 % or more) 5# sliced potatoes 3 cans of mushroom soup

Directions:

Start by coating the inside of a 9 by 13 glass casserole with Pam spray. Mix the soup with milk until the soup is smooth and pours well. Place a layer of sliced potatoes and ham in the casserole dish and pour in a layer of soup mixture. Sprinkle a little black pepper over the soup mixture to taste. Add a second layer of potatoes and ham and complete with another layer of soup mixture. Place dish in oven at 350 degrees and bake for approximately 2 hours.

The side dish is very important since you need something that goes well with the scallop potatoes. Canned or frozen corn seems to fit the bill. Asparagus shoots can make for a nice second vegetable.
