Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 C of white rice 1 medium sized onion
¼ C bacon bitts ½ C frozen peas or green beans
3 TBS soy sauce 2 eggs

Directions:
You can use a rice steamer which calls for a few cups of water in the base. The cooking area will require 1 ½ cup of water and 1cup of rice. Set the timer for 50 minutes even though most cookbooks call for less time. While the rice is steaming, cut up a medium sized onion in small pieces and cook in olive oil until soft and the onions starts to brown. Scramble two eggs and break into small pieces. Use a large skillet to warm final dish by adding cooked rice, scrambled eggs, browned onions, frozen peas, small amount of bacon bits, and add about three tablespoons of soy sauce. A good way to check to see if your rice dish is done is to try one of the peas for texture and heat.

Personal Notes:
A nice touch is to add cut up pieces of shrimp.
