3 c. sliced carrots (approx. 1 pound)
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. pancake syrup - regular or lite
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. grated orange peel (optional)
chopped parsley (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook carrots in 1 inch boiling water 10 to 20 minutes or until tender. Drain. In small saucepan, melt butter or margarine, stir in pancake syrup, ginger and orange peel, cook 1 minute.

Pour glaze over carrots. Stir. Garnish with parsley.
