Ingredients:  
3 broilers, split into 4 pieces each or chicken pieces with skin on...
4 T melted butter...
1 jar chili sauce...
1 cup water...
3/4 cup brown sugar...
3/4 cup golden raisins...
1 T Worchestire sauce...
1 1/2 t garlic salt...
1/2 t pepper...
1 can pitted dark cherries, drained...
3/4 cup sherry...

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven to broil...Season chicken with salt and pepper, brush with the melted butter...
Put chicken on a cookie sheet on lower rack and broil until the skin is light brown..
Take chicken out of oven...Now set oven to 350 degrees and place chicken into a roasting pot...
Now mix together the remaining ingredients, except the cherries and sherry...
Pour this mixture over the chicken, cover and bake chicken for 1 hour..
Uncover the chicken, pour the cherries and Sherry mixture over the chicken bake and baste until the chicken skin is a golden brown...

Seems like you use many different pots, pans and cookie sheets, well, you do, but well worth it...Men really like this dish and so do the ladies, for that matter...

Can prepare this dish a day early and just warm up in oven before serving...
Set oven to 300 degrees and warm up for 40 minutes, seems to be better this
way..

Can be frozen, too...

When talking chicken pieces, we use breasts and thighs only, 4 each...
