2 C. sugar
1/2 C. corn syrup
1/2 C. water
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 C. hickory nuts

Optional almonds, red and green candied cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, corn syrup, and water in saucepan. Stir until dissolved . Once dissolved cook and DO NOT stir until light crack stage. (265º on candy thermometer). While cooking beat egg whites until stiff. Beating constantly, pour hot mixture over egg whites. Beat until creamy. Add vanilla and nuts. Drop on waxed paper.
