1 1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp corn starch
1 1/2 water
1 cup mashed fruit
Boil till clear.

1 T butter
almond extract
sliced fruit-peaches or strawberries
Baked Pastry Crust
Whipped Cream
Directions:
Directions:
Boil first four ingredients till they are clear. Add 1 Tablespoon butter and a few drops of almond extract. Let cool. Alternate cooked filling with sliced fruit in a cooked pie crust. Top with whipped cream. Chill. Makes 2 pies.
