5 to 5 1/2 c. flour (sifted)
1 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. warm milk
3 T. melted margarine
2 yeast (dry) in 1/4 c. hot water
3 eggs
Filling for Kifla:
1 lb. chopped walnuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat milk and melt margarine.
In large bowl combine 3 cups flour, yeast mixture, sugar, salt, milk. eggs, butter
Mix with doughmaker for 3 minutes.
Gradually add enough flour for a moderately stiff dough (not too stiff). Knead with doughmaker for 4 minutes until smooth and satiny. Place in greased bowl. Cover and let rise until double. Then divide dough in 3.
Roll out dough and brush with melted ,margarine and spread with nuts filling. Roll up and let raise again.
Brush with beaten egg and sugar. Bake 350 for 30 minutes

I'm not sure what the doughmaker is, but I'm guessing it was the attachment for her mixer.
