1 1/4 cups of olive oil...
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice...
1/2 cup soy sauce...
6 shallots, finely chopped, 2/3 cup...
1/3 cup fresh thyme leaves, chopped or 1 1/2 T dried thyme...
1 t Tabasco sauce...
Salt and freshly ground pepper...
2 pounds peeled and deveined large shrimp...

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, except shrimp, together...
Season with salt and pepper...
Soak wooden skewers in water at least 2 hours...
Once soaked, thread the shrimp onto the skewers..

Place shrimp into a large baking dish and pour the marinade over them for 20 to 30 minutes only...

Light the grill and once hot,, place shrimp on grill and cook 3 minutes on one side, turn and grill 2 minutes on other side.....DO NOT OVER COOK SHRIMP, THEY WILL BE TOUGH IF YOU DO!!!

While shrimp grill pour remaining marinade into a sauce pan, boil marinade, bring to a rolling boil and serve this with the shrimp and crusty bread to soak up the marinade...
So, so good!!!
