2 (6 oz) cans minced clams (Snow Clam)
2 slices bacon, diced
1/2 cup mined onion
2 Tbsp finely chopped celery
2 1/2 cups raw potatoes, chopped
1/2 cup hot water
1/4 cup domestic wine (opt)
1 1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup half & half
2 Tbsp butter
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp red cayenne pepper
Lawry salt

Directions:
Directions:
Drain clams, reserve liquid. Saute bacon, onion and celery until onion is golden. Add clam liquid, diced potatoes, water and wine. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until potatoes are tender but still firm. Add clams, milk, butter, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and Lawry salt. Bring to a boil stirring occasionally. Serve Hot.
