Measurements are approximate--Mom never measured!
2 lbs of hamburg—I use 85-90% for flavor
1 onion finely chopped
1-2 cloves of garlic finely chopped
½- ¾ tablespoon of Italian seasoning
½- ¾ tablespoon basil dried or fresh (finely chopped)
Pinch of garden mint
1 ½ cups fresh soft bread crumbs—about 3-4 slices of bread
½ - ¾ cup milk
2 eggs beaten
Salt if desired
Grated parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Set oven temperature to 350 degrees

Mix well with hands—if too soupy add more bread crumbs; too dry, add more milk

Depending upon the size meatball you like, take appropriate handful of mixture and roll into “balls”, placing on a cookie sheet type pan (make sure it has sides). The meatballs should not touch each other. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, larger sized meatballs will take longer.
