4 ounces dried apricots
1/2 cup water
2 T sugar
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup brown sugaar
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup cold butter
1/2 cup coconut
3/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine apricot and water in saucepan. Boil. Reduce to low, cover and simmer till very tender (about 30 minutes). Mash with fork. Stir in 2 T sugar. Cool completely or chill. For crust: stir together 1 1/4 cup flour, brown sugar, salt. Cut in cold butter. Stir in coconut oatmeal and walnuts. Preheat overn to 325. Press 1/2 into ungreased 8" pan. Spread apricot filling over pastry leaving a 1/4 to 1/2" border. Sprinkle with the remaining crumbs. Pres down. Bake 60-70 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool completely. Chill, cut.
