1 1/2 tbsp. olive oil
1 cup chopped onion
6 large garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp. fresh parsley, minced
1 tsp. dried whole oregano
1 tsp. dried whole basil
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. fresh ground pepper
2 bay leaves
1 (28 oz) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
3/4 cup dry red wine
3/4 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil. Add onion, saute 5 minutes. Add garlic and saute until tender.
Add parsley and next 5 ingredients; stir 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients; reduce heat
and simmer, uncovered, 30-45 minutes, stirring often. Remove bay leaves.
