Ingredients:  
1 Lb. Orange Slice Candy (Cut into small pieces)
1 Pkg. 8 oz. Dates Chopped
2 C Chopped Nuts
1 Can of Coconut
Add 1/2 C Flour to this mixture and set aside.

1 C Butter
2 C Sugar
4 Eggs (Beat Well)
3 1/2 C Pre Sifted Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 C Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together Butter and Sugar
Add Eggs, Flour, Salt, Baking Soda, & Buttermilk and mix well.

Add Candy, Dates, Nuts, Coconut mixture and blend

Pour into a Bundt Pan and bake 45 minutes at 300 Degrees

Mix well 1 C Orange Juice with 2 C Powdered Sugar. Pour over cake while hot and let it stand covered overnight.

My mother always made this cake at Christmas. This is nothing like a regular fruit cake.
