1 head cabbage; quartered, then chop in large pieces
5-6 potatoes, peeled and quartered
1 onion, sliced and chopped in large pieces
1 pkg. polish sausage, sliced 1/2-inch thick
dab of Crisco shortening
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Directions:
Prepare vegetables and sausage; place in large cooking pot. Cover with water and boil until potatoes are tender. Serve with pan of cornbread.
