3/4 Cup Butter
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 1/2 Cups Mashed bananas (3-5)
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup Buttermilk
1 tsp Vanilla
2 Cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar
Blend in bananas, eggs and vanilla
Add flour, soda, salt alternately with milk
Fold in optional nuts or chocolate chips
Pour in greased (with wax paper on bottom) of loaf pans
Bake at 350 for 1 hour, checking at 45 minutes

Plain milk can be used or to make buttermilk, add a T of lemon juice to milk.
